CP PATHWAY REVIEW NOT AN ACTIVE COURSE -
This self-paced course aims to educate workers on how to complete assessments of new child protection concerns at the point of referral to determine what further action is required by the Department to promote the safety and well being of a child.
At the end of the course participants will be able to:
- Understand the case flow pathway for child protection cases
- Gather and consider all relevant information to determine how to progress a child protection concern referral
- Demonstrate ability to utilise the Interaction Tool to inform the Interaction Assessment decision against the statutory child protection threshold
- Examine risk factors for infants
- Understand the purpose of Initial Inquiry Assessments and actions available to Child Protection Workers in completing an Initial Inquiry.
