CP PATHWAY REVIEW NOT AN ACTIVE COURSE - This self-paced course aims to provide better targeted earlier intervention responses to divert families from the statutory child protection system and to prevent children entering out-of-home care and to support families with reunification.
At the end of the course participants will be able to:
- Describe the purpose and elements of the Earlier Intervention and Family Support (EIFS) strategy
- Describe the Intensive Family Support (IFS) approach
- Describe the role of the Intensive Family Support team and services being provided for Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal families
- Explore practice skills and tools for working with families requiring intensive family support
- Apply a range of strategies to target and support vulnerable families
