CP PATHWAY REVIEW NOT AN ACTIVE COURSE - This self-paced course aims to provide better targeted earlier intervention responses to divert families from the statutory child protection system and to prevent children entering out-of-home care and to support families with reunification.

At the end of the course participants will be able to:

  1. Describe the purpose and elements of the Earlier Intervention and Family Support (EIFS) strategy
  2. Describe the Intensive Family Support (IFS) approach
  3. Describe the role of the Intensive Family Support team and services being provided for Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal families
  4. Explore practice skills and tools for working with families requiring intensive family support
  5. Apply a range of strategies to target and support vulnerable families
