CP PATHWAY REVIEW NOT AN ACTIVE COURSE - 

This self-paced course is a foundation level course to prepare child protection workers to identify family and domestic violence and respond appropriately under the supervision of their Team Leader.

At the end of course participants will be able to: 

  1. Understand and recognise family and domestic violence indicators in children and families.
  2. Access FDV tools and resources to gather information to support screening, risk assessment and risk management.
  3. Analyse the impact for children.
  4. Develop safety plans collaboratively with families to promote safety for children and victims.
  5. Ensure own safety and self-care while supporting victims of family and domestic violence.

This is course 5 of 6 in Orientation Program 1.
