CP PATHWAY REVIEW NOT AN ACTIVE COURSE -
This self-paced course equips new employees with a basic understanding of the signs, symptoms and impacts of chronic stress and trauma on Child Protection Workers and the strategies to aid the development of resilience and self-care planning.
At the end of the course participants will be able to:
- Describe self-care and how it will assist you in your role as a Child Protection Worker
- Explain resilience and how it can be developed
- Recognise the signs, symptoms and possible consequences of chronic stress
- Identify the types of trauma Child Protection Workers can experience
- Construct short and long-term self-care strategies
